The hotel was what we liked during trip. The location was EXCELLENT, at a short distance from a 16th century Portuguese fort. There were a night market and a local market around the venue.

Soft blanket
The wash basin drained extremely slow and even after feedback, reception did not send someone to get it fixed as promised. Breakfast was crap with fried noodle, toasted bread, hotdog and scramble egg thats all. Hair dryer upon request as stated on website was actually hairdryer attached at the staircase common area.

The rooms were brand-new with a double bed, American or local breakfast plus aircon. Everywhere there was clean, the staff were friendly people especially the manager.

Beautiful heritage hotel, Attractive public areas, Freshly renovated decor
Basic room experience with no windows!!! Poor soundproofing and annoying Grab pickup issues!!! Staff seem inexperienced!!! Bikes not suitable for rental!!! The hotel could really enhance the guest experience with better facilities!!!

The room was a nice size with satellite television, climate control and a personal safe.
Responsive stuff, efficient services, and ideal location near to the tourist attraction and the Malacca River and the local market. Good meals with complimentary drinks. Pretty nice room, comfortable bed and large bathroom...

The location is really convenience which is located in jonker street. Affordable room rate if you are more concern on lacation & budget. Room is just meet clean and with very simple furniture. Please don't expect too much. I like the car park spaces that prepared by the hotel. Very safety but is based on first come first serve basis. Overall .. the Baba House full of feel of Baba & Nyonya.
Not much choice for breakfast and the aircon for the hotel is not cold enough. Very simple furniture for the room and don't expected too much.

Couple seeking charm and comfort
The staff were super friendly, went out of their way to help us take some nice photos and they even had this cool movie night projected, was like home! Plus, the location is right by the famous street so we could walk everywhere without dealing with the crowds.
It wasn't exactly cheap, but I'd say it was worth it.

The hotel is very well centered, just beside Jonker street and close to the center of the city. The hotel is really not expensive and has a nice design. The staff is very friendly and efficient.
No windows in room. Washing bowl just next to the room's entrance. The hotel is very noisy, you can hear people walking and speaking in corridors and in other rooms. The breakfast is really basic.

counter staff are friendly.
The breakfast is just fine due to limited choice . The staff is not fexible as I have to pay RM5/- for my 7 yrs old son who only drink one glass of water and two pieces of mini hot-dog. Try to talk to the staff that he drank milk and could not eat much, but given a no-no answer.

The hotel is a 5-minute walk from bustling Jonker Street. We loved the charming decor, blending traditional Nyonya style with modern comforts. Plus, the friendly staff even welcomed our small dog!
My kids wished the hotel had a designated play area for them.

The hotel was only a street away from Jonkers Walk, which housed the night market during the weekends. It was also near to the main attractions such as the Stadhuys.
Due to its proximity to the areas of interest and Jonkers Walk, traffic in and out of the area was terrible, especially in the evenings.
